چکیده

We study the transport properties of a diffusive Josephson junction between two spin-split superconductors (SCs) made SC-ferromagnetic insulator bilayers on top three-dimensional topological insulator. derive corresponding Usadel equation describing quasiclassical Green's functions in these systems and first solve analytically weak-proximity case. demonstrate appearance an anomalous phase absence external magnetic field. also explore nonreciprocal electronic transport. Specifically, we calculate diode efficiency $\ensuremath{\eta}$ by solving equation. obtain sizable effect even at zero applied discuss how depends different parameters find nonmonotonic behavior with temperature.

Spin-polarized proximity effect in superconducting junctions

We study spin dependent phonomena in superconducting junctions in both ballistic and diffusive regimes. For ballistic junctions we study both ferromagnet / sand d-wave superconductor junctions and two dimensional electron gas / s-wave superconductor junctions with Rashba spin-orbit coupling. It is shown that the exchange field alway suppresses the conductance while the Rashba spin-orbit couplin...

Anomalous finite-size effect in superconducting Josephson junction arrays.

We show that a previously reported discrepancy between simulations of superconducting Josephson junction arrays and the theoretical analysis of Ambegaokar, Halperin, Nelson, and Siggia (AHNS) [Phys. Rev. Lett. 40, 783 (1978)] is rooted in a peculiar finite-size effect under periodic boundary conditions. Our simulation results for the largest array support the power-law I-V curves predicted by A...

Spin current in ferromagnet / insulator / superconductor junctions

A theory of spin polarized tunneling spectroscopy based on a scattering theory is given for tunneling junctions between ferromagnets and d-wave superconductors. The spin filtering effect of an exchange field in the insulator is also treated. We clarify that the properties of the Andreev reflection are largely modified due to a presence of an exchange field in the ferromagnets, and consequently ...

Spin-Flip Scattering Effect on the Current-Induced Spin Torque in Ferromagnet-Insulator-Ferromagnet Tunnel Junctions

We have investigated the current-induced spin transfer torque of a ferromagnet-insulator-ferromagnet tunnel junction by taking the spin-flip scatterings into account. It is found that the spin-flip scattering can induce an additional spin torque, enhancing the maximum of the spin torque and giving rise to an angular shift compared to the case when the spin-flip scatterings are neglected. The ef...
